I’m a nature enthusiast who adores greens and wildflowers, a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a dedicated lifestyle photographer. I have loved taking photos since I was little and could handle a disposable camera. I have since perfected the art of seizing bright, candid moments that encapsulate your family’s authentic connections. I believe you deserve visuals that celebrate the splendor of your daily life while you navigate the delightful chaos of parenthood.
For Salt Lake City family photographers, fall is always the busiest time of year! I’ve been trying to expand my fall location options and I’ve found some more winners this year! I have two new spots in the Salt Lake County area that are beautiful. The one I’ll showcase for this blog is up Emigration Canyon.
I had a client reach out to me wanting mountain views and red leaves. Reds have been a bit difficult for me to find because I usually shoot up American Fork Canyon which is covered in aspens that turn yellow. The other caveat is that they didn’t want to drive more than 30-40 minutes so I became very limited in my search. I started checking out spots close to an old one I’ve used and found something that piqued my interest. I went early to their session and let them know I might change spots last minute to somewhere nearby. 😅 Luckily they were willing work with me and boy it paid off!
As I scouted this new spot, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. There were the most gorgeous mountain views. Then right around the corner, on a trail, lots of red leaves! We saw a few other photographers so it seems like others know about it but it’s not overrun like so many other spots.
This is the perfect spot for those who want mountains in their photos. And It’d be the perfect option for fall. Check it out below!
